After following a somewhat convoluted and laborious process at technorati I finally received a email that this blog had been “claimed” (by an identity at technorati) and that it had been indexed. They did warn there might be a delay before any search query would yield results.
Well 10 days ought to be enough “delay” and a search query for very specific terms in the blog should yield results, but no, technorati only reports one hit and even that one is not very close to the search terms.
It’s hard to believe such a well-known site is a scam, but maybe getting included in their search can only happen via something I didn’t do, like paying them money, or fans/followers/links that pay them money or not being well enough collected through other social networks. Or maybe just their software sucks, which certainly would not be the first time how poorly search works.
